It was the most money ever donated by CBS 5 viewers for any of the station's Pay It Forward phone banks.

Operation Homefront helps military families get back on track after serving overseas.
For every dollar given, $0.94 directly helps military families and wounded warriors.
Since 2002, Operation Homefront has met the needs of more than 400,000 families and personnel nationwide and invested $128 million of funding in programs to support them.
