For the first time since a scandal rocked his congressional campaign, Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu is back on the defensive today.
He's broadcasting his first television ad this week called Hear it from me.
Sheriff Babeu has unveiled his first political ads. There is no mention of the recent scandal. Many wondered if a $1 million Notice of Claim against Babeu and the county by Babeu's ex-lover would end his political aspirations. Instead, the ad focuses on the work he's done and what he plans on doing for the people of Arizona.
Babeu's office does not mention when exactly the ads will start running other than saying they will be this week.
