A Dolan Springs man was arrested Wednesday in connection with the shooting death of his son over the weekend, Mohave County sheriff's detectives said.
Roy Patton, 77, was booked into the Mohave County Jail on charges of first-degree murder.
On Saturday, detectives were called to a home in the 15800 block of North Grand Drive.
Lake Mohave Ranchos Fire Department personnel were attending to the victim, Ronald Patton, 43, of Dolan Springs. Patton was found face down and suffering a gunshot wound.
Autopsy results released Tuesday revealed that Patton died from gunshot wound to his neck and head.
Sheriff's detectives said the victim recently moved in with his father, Roy Patton. A .38-caliber revolver was recovered.
