2 hospitalized after crash at Avondale intersection

AVONDALE, AZ (CBS5) -

At least two people were taken to local hospitals after a three-vehicle accident in the intersection of Avondale Boulevard and Buckeye Road on Wednesday morning.

Avondale police said the crash occurred at the railroads tracks at the intersection around 6 a.m.

A 22-year-old man suffering severe trauma was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, and a 36-year-old man was taken to West Valley Hospital with head and neck injuries.

No other information was immediately available.
