PHOENIX (CBS5) -
One person was burned when a stove fire got out of control at a Phoenix home.
Capt. Scott Walker of the Phoenix Fire Department said a 40-year-old woman suffered burns to her legs while cooking around 5:45 a.m. at 5238 W. Glass Lane, near 51st Avenue and north of Baseline Road.
Walker said the woman's husband had the flames extinguished by the time firefighters arrived.
The victim was taken to the Arizona Burn Center at Maricopa Medical Center for treatment.
