At least four people suffered injuries in accident that blocked three lanes of traffic on Interstate 10 near 7th Avenue, the Arizona Department of Public Safety said.
Monday afternoon's one-vehicle accident occurred in the eastbound lanes of I-10 between 19th and 7th avenues.
One of the three affected lanes was re-opened to traffic at around 4:20 p.m. The other lanes were expected to reopen shortly, DPS said.
The extent of injuries was not known. There were minor secondary collisions in the traffic backup, DPS said.
