PHOENIX (CBS5) -
Two Phoenix police officers responding to a domestic violence call tangled with a suspect Sunday and the fight sent them both crashing through a window, investigators said.
It happened at about 9:30 a.m. in 11,200 block of South 51st Street.
Police were able to separate the people involved when one of them, a man, started fighting with the officers, said Sgt. Tommy Thompson of the Phoenix Police Department.
All three crashed through a window and suffered cuts, Thompson said.
The suspect and the officers were transported to local hospitals. One officer will need some stitches and the other officer's injuries were minor, Thompson said.
