PHOENIX (CBS5) -
Seven suspects have been indicted in connection to recent murders in Paradise Valley and Phoenix.
Michael Lee Crane, 31, was charged with two counts of first degree murder in the deaths of Lawrence and Glenna Shapiro on Jan. 30, 2012.
Crane and an accomplice were also charged with first degree murder in the Jan. 26, 2012, murder of Bruce Gaudet in Phoenix. The name of Crane's accomplice is being withheld pending service of the charges.
Both Gaudet and the Shapiros were found dead in their burning homes.
The grand jury also delivered indictments against Kelly Ann Steward, 29, Brittany Beinhauer, 27, Shawn Nicloy, 29, Danielle Elaine Rossman, 25, and Katherine Adele Austin, 25. They face charges including theft, trafficking in stolen property and hindering prosecution in connection with both the Shapiro and Gaudet homicides.
In addition to the two murder counts for the Shapiro homicides, Crane faces two counts of kidnapping, one count of first degree burglary, two counts of arson of an occupied structure and two counts of armed robbery.
In Gaudet's murder, Crane and his accomplice are both charged with one count of kidnapping, one count of burglary, one count of arson of an occupied structure, one count of arson of a structure or property, one of count of armed robbery and one count of theft of means of transportation.
All seven defendants are currently in custody. Nicloy, Rossman and Austin are scheduled to be arraigned on Feb. 16. Crane, Steward and Beinhauer are scheduled Feb. 21.
