Jaw of bus-sized reptile for sale

SCOTTSDALE, AZ (CBS5) -

You could own a piece of history and a piece of a bus-sized reptile called the Mosasaur.

Scottsdale's Touchstone Gallery is selling an enormous, tooth-lined jaw fossil.

Touchstone's Mosasaur skull fossil, estimated at between 65.5 and 70.6 million years old, was discovered in the Phosphate Deposits Formation of Oued Zem, Khouribga Plateau, Morocco and acquired by expert British fossil importer Brian Eberhardie.

Touchstone's said it was excavated in such excellent condition that only minor restoration was needed to the top front teeth closest to the snout. Experts confirmed the fossil was paleontologically complete prior to arriving at Touchstone Gallery.
