Sheriff Arpaio welcomes 22 veterans to staff

PHOENIX (CBS5) -

Sheriff Joe Arpaio is staying true to his word and welcomed 22 veterans to his staff today.

The sheriff recently promised to help our returning military service men and women find jobs once they came home.

He ordered all military resumes that came in to his agency be placed at the front of the line.

The newly hired vets will go through nine weeks of training at the Maricopa County Sheriff's Detention Academy before starting work in the jail facilities.
