MOBILE, AZ (CBS5) -

Another day has gone by and still no sign of little Jhessye Shockley.

Crews continued to search the Butterfield landfill south of the Valley.

Investigators believe that's where they'll find the 5-year-old's body.

Police told CBS 5 News the search is running very smoothly.

"We have a forensic person from Medical Examiner's office if we need them. With the technology today all we have to do is take a picture of something that maybe we have a question about.  We can send that to them immediately and their so good at their job they can tell us pretty quickly if that's something they need to come out and take a look at" shared Officer Tracey Breeden with the Glendale Police department.

Jhessye was reported missing in October.

Police believe she was killed and dumped in a trash bin in Tempe.

Investigators say the landfill search could take up to six weeks.
