PHOENIX (CBS5) -
The Arizona National Guard held a faith-based summit to provide help to veterans and active military.
The focus of the summit was to equip and train faith communities and organizations to be a source of care and support to service members. Topics ranged from coping with stress to suicide prevention.
The gathering was part of the Guard's Be Resilient program, whose purpose is to strengthen resilience in Guard members and their families.
The Arizona Coalition for Military Families also participated in the event.
