PHOENIX (CBS5) -
More help is on the way for the millions of Americans battling Alzheimer's disease.
The Obama administration is pumping an additional $50 million into Alzheimer's research.
The money will be used to develop better dementia treatments and to help caregivers, who are overwhelmed, cope better.
About 5 million Americans suffer from Alzheimer's disease, and barring a medical breakthrough, that number is expected to double in the coming decades.
