PHOENIX (CBS5) -
Linebacker Paris Lenon was among several Cardinals players who delivered 200 gift baskets filled with toys, games, crafts and movies to seriously ill children at Phoenix Children's Hospital.
The Arizona Cardinals took part in the Basket of Hope program, which delivers thousands of baskets to more than 17 hospitals and Ronald McDonald Houses around the country each year.
The mission of the Basket of Hope organization is to give hope to newly diagnosed children and their families affected by cancer or other serious illnesses, primarily by the delivery of a Basket of Hope filled with inspirational materials to nourish them mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
