School gets $10K for new math textbooks

PHOENIX (CBS5) -

Some Phoenix students are getting brand new math books thanks to a generous donor.

The Phoenix Industrial Development Authority presented a $10,000 check to Academia del Pueblo Tuesday morning.

Without the donation from the nonprofit, the school would not have been in compliance of new academic standards by the Department of Education.
