PRESCOTT VALLEY, AZ (CBS5) -

Two 18-year-old men have been arrested in connection with the burglary of a Prescott Valley food store.

Jeremy Edward Maness and Jeremy Adam Lee Trueblood, both of Prescott Valley, were taken into custody at their apartment on Monday after a warrant was served, according to Prescott Valley police.

A patrol officer recognized mug shots of the two, which led police to the men.

Maness and Trueblood are suspected of stealing items after forcing their way into the Discount Food Market at 8531 Florentine Road around 3 a.m. Monday.

Police said they recovered a cash register drawer and a store surveillance camera at the suspects' apartment.

Officers said the two are also suspected of trying to steal a vehicle in the area near the store, but the vehicle would not run.

Maness and Trueblood were booked into the Yavapai County Jail on felony charges of suspicion of third-degree burglary, theft, criminal damage and attempted vehicle theft.
