PRESCOTT VALLEY, AZ (CBS5) -
Burglars did a smash-and-grab at a Prescott Valley Kmart overnight.
According to Sgt. Brandon Bonney with the Prescott Valley Police Department, officers responded to a burglary alarm shortly after 3 a.m. Monday and found that someone had busted through the glass in the front of the Kmart at 7550 E. S.R. 69.
PVPD officers cleared the building to ensure there were no suspects left inside. During their sweep of the building, officers found several broken jewelry cases with jewelry missing.
Police say it is not clear at this point how much jewelry was taken.
