PHOENIX (CBS5) -

A 15-year-old boy suspected of killing two people in a Peoria smoke shop pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder charges Thursday morning.

Tyson Langley made his pleas during his arraignment in the Maricopa County Jail. His next court date was scheduled for March 19.

Langley is being held on a $2 million bond after he allegedly shot and killed 60-year-old Kenneth Matlock and 38-year-old Melinda Bowen and wounded 51-year-old Robert Troutman during an armed robbery at the Euphorium Emporium on Jan. 17.

Days later, he was located by Los Angeles police and returned to Arizona accompanied by Peoria detectives.

Langley has a history with law enforcement. He was arrested in 2008 on theft charges, according to Maricopa County Juvenile Court records, but was never formally charged. Police records show that Langley pulled a Mercedes emblem off a car and he was put on a diversion program.
