GRAND CANYON NATIONAL PARK, AZ (CBS5) -
The Grand Canyon Skywalk is the number one new bridge in the world.
That's according to Travel + Leisure Magazine, which ranked the best new bridges. The magazine says the Skywalk won by a large margin in the U.S. and beat out all other bridges in the world.
The Skywalk is located at the Grand Canyon West's Eagle Point. It's the only place where visitors can walk out onto glass almost 4,000 feet above the canyon's floor.
Henderson Waves Pedestrian Bridge in Singapore, Millau Viaduct in France, Ponte della Costituzione in Venice, Italy, and the Langkawi Sky Bridge in Malaysia rounded out the top five New Bridges.
Travel + Leisure Magazines defines any new landmark as opening after 1996.
