LAKE HAVASU CITY, AZ (AP) -
A domestic violence call has led to a police shooting in Lake Havasu City.
The police department says officers were called to a residence early Wednesday when a caller said a man was threatening to kill himself and harm others.
As officers approached, 39-year-old Lake Havasu City resident Danny Haskell came outside armed with a handgun. An officer fired one shot and Haskell died at the scene.
Detectives from the Kingman Police Department have been asked to investigate.
