Estranged son accused of murdering his father

TONOPAH, AZ (CBS5) -

Police have arrested the estranged son of a man found dead in his Tonopah home.

Tyler McQuade is accused of killing his father, Sean McQuade, whose body was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds by his two brothers Monday.

Police believe the fatal shot was to his face.

A friend of Sean told police Sean was at his house Saturday when Tyler allegedly called him and said he wanted to speak with him at his house, which Sean found to be unusual since they rarely spoke.

When contacted, Tyler told detectives he hadn't spoken to his father since November 2011. Police said he did not show any emotion regarding his father's murder or being accused of the murder.

Based on their investigation, detectives booked Tyler in jail Friday on first-degree murder.
