PEORIA, AZ (CBS5) -

A 15-year-old boy is being held in Maricopa County Jail on a $2 million after he allegedly shot and killed two people during an armed robbery in Peoria last week.

Tyson Langley was in court Monday morning on two counts of first-degree murder.

Police say on Jan. 17, Langley killed two people and wounded another while robbing a smoke shop.

Days later he was located by Los Angeles police and returned to Arizona accompanied by Peoria detectives.

Langley has a history with law enforcement. He was arrested in 2008 on theft charges, according to Maricopa County Juvenile Court records, but was never formally charged. Police records show that Langley pulled a Mercedes emblem off a car and he was put on a diversion program.
