CHANDLER, AZ (CBS5) -

A Chandler man has died from injuries he suffered in a two-car crash late Sunday morning.

The victim is identified as Donald Doud, 66.  He was a passenger in an antique 1956 Ford pickup truck that was struck by an SUV at the intersection of Cooper and Riggs roads, police said.

Both men in the pickup were ejected through the front windshield.

Chandler police said the collision occurred when the driver of the SUV, Eliseo Acosta-Grajeca, 34, ran a red light. Acosta-Grajeca and his 9-year-old son was treated for minor injuries. The third occupant of the SUV, a 7-year-old boy, was transported to a local hospital and later released.

The driver of the pickup is still hospitalized and listed in critical condition. Acosta-Grajeca was cited for causing serious injury or death by a moving violation.
