A new study sheds light on the link between breast cancer and preservatives.
Breast tissue samples taken from 40 cancer patients in England showed thatall of the women had at least one chemical commonly used as a preservative.
The chemicals, or parabens, are used in cosmetics, food products andpharmaceuticals.
But, researchers say the parabens were also found in the tissue of women whodid not use underarm deodorant. Scientists are looking into whether thepreservatives in deodorant are linked to breast cancer.
