Injured illegal immigrant rescued from desert

CASA GRANDE, AZ (CBS5) -

An illegal immigrant soon will be headed back to Mexico after being rescued by border patrol agents.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection said Casa Grande agents rescued the 39-year-old man with multiple leg fractures in the west desert.

The man told the agents that he fell and was left by his group after coming into the U.S. illegally.

He is being treated at a local hospital.
