A new, 5-star luxury resort in Scottsdale promises guests the highest level of service and pampering. The accommodations are first class and suites feature majestic, sweeping views of the North Valley. It's the Fur Seasons Pet Resort!
Owners Joan Gilmour and Nancy Toliver have been in the pet business for more than seven years. Past clients have hinted they'd like a place that offers overnight accommodations in a kennel-free zone. The resort offers your pet fully decorated suites and villas, top-notch customer service, parties and services such as teeth cleaning, grooming and "yappy" hour.
"It's sort like a like a little peaceful retreat and getaway, so as pet owners themselves are going somewhere great for vacation, so too can their pet," said co-owner Joan Gilmour.
"It's a very luxurious accommodation. We have 24/7 staffing, and we also offer webcams," adds co-owner Nancy Toliver.
At this resort, you're allowed and encouraged to peep into these rooms if you'd like to keep any eye on your pet. When checking in, they'll either give you an app for your smart phone, or you can access the cameras through a computer.
"Our clients consider their pets to be their children and it's very hard to leave them when they go out of town," said Gilmour.
We're told the food at the resort is pretty impressive too. Pet owners can either bring their own food or choose from various entrees and snacks offered on site.
