PHOENIX (CBS5) -

KOKOPELLI KRUSH
This is the marked event over the weekend! It's the largest wine event in Arizona located in Historic Downtown Chandler, the tenth annual Kokopelli Krush, and it all starts this Friday.

Get ready for an entire weekend packed with tradition, family games and the Big Krush competition. The way it works is, they will have teams of two that can compete daily for a chance to win prizes, gift cards and the grand prize team will win a cruise for two!

Samplings from a dozen wineries will be there, with entertainment, and a kids zone. Early registration starts at noon on Friday.

ARIZONA STATE FAIR
Big weekend at the Arizona State Fair. Huge concerts – Judas Priest on Friday, and Gavin DeGraw and David Cook on Sunday. Both concerts are free with paid admission.

Wallace and Ladmo fans will get a chance to enjoy a play about their history on Friday. Get this if you are looking for a great deal -- head on down to the fair from 10 a.m. to noon and get free admission.

BOO AT THE ZOO
Get in the Halloween spirit early this year at the Phoenix Zoo.  A ton of spooky activities are planned for families at the Phoenix Zoo.

They will have a photo moment at the Zoo Pumpkin Patch, a Costume Swap meet, magic show, and a ton of mascots for kids.

And because orange is the color of Halloween, it seems fitting that the Phoenix Suns host a slam dunk contest with the famous Suns Gorilla.
