SCOTTSDALE, AZ (CBS5) -
Scottsdale police say an iPhone "app" helped them track down a pair of suspected burglars.
Police say two men broke into a home in the 13600 block of North 87th Street on Sunday just before midnight.
The victims told police the suspects had taken personal property and electronic devices, including an iPhone, before fleeing the scene.
The use of GPS tracking technology showed the victim's phone was near 6800 E. Mayo Blvd.
Police stopped a minivan with two people who matched the descriptions of the suspects near Scottsdale Road and Mayo Boulevard and the stolen items were found inside the vehicle.
Raul Montiel, 19, of Mesa, and Damien Armour, 22, of Gilbert were booked in the Scottsdale Jail and face a charge of burglary.
Police say crimes like this one are getting easier solve with devices like cell phones that have GPS systems.
