Phoenix police looking for handgun thief

Phoenix police are looking for the man accused of stealing handguns from a weapons store.

The theft took place at Southwest Custom Firearms near 36th Street and Indian School Road.

Police say the man walked into the store about 2 p.m. Saturday and removed two handguns from a counter case. He then left the store without paying.

Police have a generic description of the suspect and are hoping someone who knows something about this case will turn him in.

Silent Witness is offering a $1,000 reward for a successful arrest in the case. If you have any information, you can call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS (480-948-6377).
