TEMPE, AZ (AP) -
Tempe police arrested a man wanted in a fatal stabbing case. Detectives took 60-year-old Gordon Benson into custody in Mesa on Monday evening without incident.
Detectives are still investigating the case and are working to determine a motive for the stabbing death of 47-year-old Fred Bustamante over the weekend.
Police say Bustamante was living at a residence on Apache Boulevard when he was stabbed to death Saturday.
It could not be immediately determined early Tuesday if Benson has an attorney. Also, it's not clear what Benson's relationship was with Bustamante.
