UPDATE: Victim dies in 75th Avenue ice cream store shooting
One of the two victims in a shooting outside of a Baskin Robins on 75th Avenue and Indian School has died.
Edgar Sigala, 24, was taken to the hospital but passed away from gunshot wounds. The second victim, a 26-year-old female, is in stable condition.
Detectives learned Jose Acuna, 22, met with both victims at the Baskin Robbins prior to the incident. Acuna left only to return with a gun. As both victims were leaving the Baskin Robbins, Acuna confronted the two and shot them.
Officers were able to obtain sufficient information to identify Acuna and he was arrested late last night and booked on one count of 1st degree murder, one count of attempted murder, and a weapons violation.
