Nadine Bubeck joins the CBS 5 News team as the morning Time-Saver Traffic reporter.
She comes to the Valley of the Sun from KSBW-TV in San Diego, CA. Nadine joined the FOX affiliate when it launched in 2008, and spent two years as a multimedia journalist, reporting, shooting and editing all her stories.
Before KSBW-TV, Nadine spent a year at KSWT-TV in Yuma. In addition to being a reporter, Nadine launched, produced, and anchored a 4 p.m. newscast.
One of her most memorable assignments at the CBS affiliate was when she was whisked away via Royal Navy helicopter off the coast of North Carolina spending two nights on the HMS Illustrious, a Royal Navy Carrier. There, she covered a first-of-a-kind harrier-jet training between Yuma Marines and British Sailors.
While earning her Bachelor's Degree in radio and television from San Francisco State University, Nadine landed her first news job as an Assignment Editor at KPIX-TV, the CBS-owned station in San Francisco.
Nadine is thrilled to call the Valley home, especially because she loves sunny weather! She's also a big sports fan, and even though she's not Arizona-born, Nadine definitely roots for the Sun Devils. You can often find Nadine at local festivals, events, and fundraisers, as Nadine is very much involved and immersed in the community.
Nadine lives in Scottsdale with her husband and her Chow Chow, Blue. She hopes to eventually raise a family here in the Valley, her picture-perfect paradise.
