Sports anchor and reporter Scott Smith has been a part of the CBS 5 family since August of 2009. You can catch him throughout the week during the 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. evening news. When he's not behind the anchor desk, you will find him on the field, court or ice covering all of the Valley's sports teams.
Before coming to the Phoenix, Scott spent several years at the CBS affiliate in Tulsa, Okla. He got his start in television reporting for a high school sports show in his native San Francisco Bay Area.
A graduate of Harding University, Scott spent his college years playing football for the Bisons (and yes, Bisons plural). In his time off, Scott enjoys hanging out with his wife, Carina, being involved in his church, watching his beloved Detroit Tigers and swinging the golf clubs on occasion.
