This week's Manhunt Monday fugitive is wanted for what police have dubbed the "Good Samaritan Shooting."
Investigators said Manuel Salazar was brazen and arrogant as he shot a man who was trying to protect his wife.
Surveillance video shows Salazar inside a Circle K at 43rd and McDowell avenues about a year ago. He was trying to steal some beer, the video shows, but was stopped by 230year-old Lance Taylor.
Salazar put the beer back but pulled out a gun and struck Taylor in the head with it, according to police. When Taylor confronted him, Salazar shot him, police said.
"I shouldn't be a widow at this age," said Chalise Taylor. "I should never witness anything like that. He took everything from me, he took my life from me, he took an innocent man's life. He cold blooded murdered my husband for no reason."
