This 100 Club effort is the latest example of that awesome generosity,” said Hammel. The 100 Club’s mission is to provide financial assistance to families of public safety officers and firefighters who are seriously injured or killed in the line-of-duty.Sharon Knutson-Felix, 100 Club Executive Director added, Wednesday night was a night that not only showed the generosity of the community but a night that honored Officer Holly. It was also a night that will help to support officers and firefighters throughout the state of Arizona.During the telethon, part of CBS 5’s Fulton Homes Power of 5 commitment, the phones were answered by uniformed officials from the City of Phoenix, City of Tempe, City of Scottsdale, AZ Dept of Public Safety and the Juvenile Correction department. The effort was also supported by members of the 100 Club with all proceeds directly benefiting the efforts of their organization.Donations continue to be accepted through a link on kpho.com’s CBS 5 Fulton Homes Power of 5 page or going directly to www.100club.org.
