Saturday - Feb. 2: Playboy To Host Super Bowl Party At The Rawhide Pavilion

To what great lengths will men go when they hear the words "Playboy," "Super Bowl," and "party" in the same sentence?

Regular ticket prices from $2,000 to $2,500? No problem.

At least a 30 minute cab drive from Scottsdale, the hub of all Super Bowl Party activity? That's chump change.

What about missing out on the Sports Illustrated and ESPN parties happening that same night? This is Playboy we're talking about.

It's hard to go wrong with a Playboy event during Super Bowl Weekend. On Feb. 2, the men's magazine will put together a bash so anticipated that many details, including the theme, are still a secret. However, recently, a Playboy party planner disclosed where its grotto away from grotto will be in Arizona.

The Arizona Republic reports that the Rawhide Pavilion at Wild Horse Pass, in Chandler, will be the site of the festivities. In the article, Playboy's Donna Tavoso reveals, "We looked at over 65 venues in area and we liked the freedom that the (Rawhide) space gave us."

According to The Republic, 26 playmates from across the country, including 2007 Playmate of the Year Sarah Underwood, will be on hand. So will Playboy's 21-and-over college representatives from around Arizona as well as hired models and go-go dancers. Only 20 tickets at $2,000 apiece are available on www.playboy.com. A limited number of VIP invitations will go out to sponsors, athletes and celebrities.

The last Playboy Super Bowl Party in 2007 was hailed as the king of all Super Bowl parties, complete with a stilletto seduction bar and a bed time story area with fighting models. Celebrities who attended last year's party at the American Airlines Arena in Miami included: Nas, Kelis, Taye Diggs, Johnny Knoxville, Chester Taylor, Tony Romo, Warren Moon, John Rocker, Lisa Guerrero, Lil Jon, Kyle Boller, Too Short, Scott Erickson, Alyssa Milano, Jermaine Dupri, Kara Monaco (2006 Playmate of the Year), Danica Patrick and Carson Palmer.
