TEMPE, Ariz. -- Tempe voters approved four bond questions in Tuesday's election, giving the city approval to sell bonds to fund capital improvement projects aimed at improving parks, water treatment, streets and public safety services.With 42,659 ballots cast, including 19,865 early ballots, there was a 54 percent voter turnout in Tempe. There are 79,404 registered voters in the city.Question 1: Water and Sewer Improvements
71.97 percent for the bonds (30,702 votes)
