Glendale, AZ -- (Sports Network) - The Phoenix Coyotes announced on Wednesday that they have signed center Vern Fiddler to a two-year contract.

As per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The 29-year-old Fiddler scored 11 goals and dished out six assists in 77 games with the Nashville Predators last season. He has finished each of the last four seasons with a face-off percentage above 50 percent.

The 5-foot-11, 201-pound Fiddler has played in 305 career NHL games over six seasons with Nashville, registering 45 goals and 48 assists.
