Glendale, AZ -- (Sports Network) - The Phoenix Coyotes re-signed left wing Petr Prucha to a two-year contract on Friday. Per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.Phoenix acquired Prucha in a trade with the Rangers on March 4. The Czech forward registered six goals and 13 assists in 47 games with New York and the Coyotes last season. "We are pleased to have signed Petr to a new contract," said Phoenix general manager Don Maloney. "He is a former 30-goal scorer and an emerging young offensive talent who competes hard every night. We look forward to Petr bringing a combination of speed and skill to our lineup." Prucha reached the 30-goal mark as a rookie with the Rangers in 2005-06, but his production has dipped considerably. He has scored a combined 35 goals in the last three seasons. In 256 career games for New York and Phoenix, Prucha has recorded 65 goals and 58 assists.
