Tempe, AZ -- (Sports Network) -The Arizona Cardinals have signed free agent tackle Oliver Ross to a one-year contract. Per club policy, terms were not disclosed.

Ross, 34, played in 23 contests -- 17 starts -- for Arizona between the 2005-06 seasons. However, he spent the entirety of the next two seasons on injured reserve. Ross missed all of 2007 with a triceps injury while with the Cardinals, and did not play in 2008 with New England because of shoulder problems.

In nine NFL seasons with Dallas, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and Arizona, Ross has started 53 of the 89 games he has played.
