Emmy Award-winning reporter Jeff Butera joined the CBS 5 news team in September 2007.

Jeff is a native of Orlando and graduated summa cum laude from the University of Florida. Before coming to Phoenix, Jeff also worked in Gainesville, Fla., Huntsville, Ala., and Jacksonville, Fla., during his career.

Jeff's work has been honored by the Rocky Mountain Emmy Southwest Chapter, Associated Press, Society of Professional Journalists, and Hearst Broadcast Foundation. He also won an Edward R. Murrow Award while working in radio during college.

Jeff lives in Glendale with his wife, Andrea. In his spare time, he enjoys reading and watching the Chicago Cubs and Florida Gators on television.
