PHOENIX -- A 3-year-old boy is OK despite falling from a second-story window onto a concrete driveway on West Acapulco Lane on Tuesday afternoon, authorities said.According to a news release from the Surprise Police Department, the boy was supposed to be napping with his twin brother in their bedroom when the boys climbed onto the window seat, unlocked the window and slid it open. The boy apparently pushed on the screen until it unlatched, and he fell onto the concrete below, police said. The toddler did not show any signs of injuries at the scene; however, he was airlifted to an area hospital as a precaution, police said.Hospital staff determined the boy did not sustain serious injuries, and planned to release the boy that evening, police said.
