For the second time in less than a week, U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers detained a man on suspicion of drug smuggling after discovering marijuana taped to his body, authorities said.

According to a news release from CBP's Douglas Port of Entry public information officer, officers were screening travelers Tuesday night when they noticed a 21-year-old man walking "very oddly."

CBP officers searched him and discovered he'd taped about two pounds of marijuana with an estimated street value of more than $3,500 to his torso, CBP said.

Officers seized the marijuana and turned the man, who is a U.S. citizen and resident of Douglas, Ariz., to Immigration and Customs Enforcement for questioning.
