PHOENIX -- Phoenix police arrested a man on drug charges Friday, but investigators also discovered explosives in his home while serving a search warrant, authorities said.Police said Robert Franklin, 52, used large firecrackers known as M-80s and a pellet gun to intimidate his neighbors.Neighbors said he would attach a long fuse to the explosive, then walk away. By the time the M-80 goes off, he would be gone.One neighbor, who wished to remain anonymous, said Franklin put one under the tire of her car."There have been several neighbors and several residents in the neighborhood who have been victimized as well -- in some cases worse than in my situation," she said.Police said they've been watching Franklin for awhile.In addition to the explosives, investigators found marijuana in his home, police said.Franklin was booked on possession of marijuana; however, police said more charges could be forthcoming.
