Police Seek Public's Help In Finding Woman

SURPRISE, Ariz. -- Police are seeking the public's help in finding a missing 63-year-old woman from Surprise.
According to the Surprise Police Department, the facts surrounding Leslie Widynowski's disappearance are "highly alarming."
Police said Widynowski was last seen at 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday at her home near the 16300 block of West Sandia Park Drive in Surprise.
Widynowski is described as a white woman about 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 125 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes.
According to police, the woman's car -- a silver 2004 Lexus ES 330 bearing the Canadian license numbers TZU-905 -- is also missing.
Detectives were told that her vehicle only had half a tank of gas and that she had little to no money with her. Police also said there has been no activity on her bank accounts.
According to police, Widynowski does not suffer from any mental illnesses or impairments.
Widynowski is from Canada and has few acquaintances in Arizona, police said.
The woman's husband, Ken, said he and his family desperately want the community to know that they do not know what happened and are in need of help.
