Victim's Husband: Killers 'Cut Us So Deeply'

PHOENIX -- The husband of the woman killed during a robbery outside a south Phoenix Kmart said he is grieving his wife's death but is confident there will be justice.Estella Navarro, 48, was fatally shot while in her parked car in a Kmart parking lot in Phoenix. Police believe the suspects tried to rob her before the slaying.Navarro was declared dead at the scene by Phoenix Fire Department personnel.Besides her husband, Fred Navarro, Navarro leaves behind a son and a daughter."We're still in a fragile state emotionally over this outrage -- me, myself, my family, my wife's family," Fred Navarro said during a news conference Friday morning. "The persons who did this cut us so deeply."Police arrested Kenneth DaWayne Williams, 19, and Michael Guzman, 18, in connection to her death.Williams, who police believe was the triggerman, is charged with robbery and first-degree murder. Guzman, the accused getaway driver, faces felony murder charges.
