PHOENIX -- A 45-count indictment has been handed up against a Phoenix-area couple accused of stealing up to 1,000 pieces of luggage at Sky Harbor International Airport.Officers arrested Keith King, 61, and Stacey Legg-King, 38, on Nov. 2 after discovering hundreds of bags in the couple's home.Police found luggage, which was stripped of all identifying information, piled in the hallways and bedrooms as well as clothing, shoes, appliances and electronics strewn about the house, according to court documents. The indictment lists alleged crimes that go back to 2005.Officers have also found video games, laptops, guns, medicine and cameras in the home, police said."The amount of luggage being stored inside the residence was almost surreal, and it was obvious that the property strewn about the residence in piles did not belong to defendant Keith King," Officer Kendall Goo wrote in the initial report.Last week, Sky Harbor began conducting random luggage checks. The airport also ramped-up video surveillance and police patrols in the baggage claim area.
