PHOENIX -- A Buckeye toddler is home safe with his mother after a woman walking her children to school found him playing on a neighborhood sidewalk Thursday morning, authorities said.According to a news release from the Buckeye Police Department, officers searched the neighborhood near 257th Lane and St. James Avenue for nearly two hours before locating the 2-year-old boy's home. The mother apparently had fallen asleep while feeding her baby daughter, police said. The boy, who knows how to unlock the deadbolt and the doorknob's lock, walked out the front door.He was found shortly afterward in a grassy area between his home and a nearby park, police said.Police said no charges have been filed, and officers are continuing to investigate the incident.
