Police: Rapper's Rival Torched Car

UPDATED: 12:20 pm MST November 10, 2009

A member of the Phoenix rap group "Mindlab Productions" had his car burned in what investigators said was a beef with a rival rapper.

Rapper Josh Greiner's car was set on fire in front of his home last week in what he said was a dispute with a former group member.

Greiner said the former member slandered the group in his music and refused to take it back.

The argument escalated into a fist fight, and then on Thursday, investigators said the rivals torched Greiner's car and tried to set fire to his home.

Damage was limited and no one was injured.

Police arrested 24-year-old Phoenix resident Ryan Parker on arson charges. Officers said they are still looking for two other men involved in the fire.
