PHOENIX -- Prescott Valley police arrested a woman Friday accused of credit card fraud and identity theft after a family member recognized her on the news, authorities said.According to a news release from the Prescott Valley Police Department, Delores Rakow, 40, made incriminating statements about credit card fraud in Prescott Valley and other crimes in Maricopa County.Rakow's photo appeared on the news after a Massachusetts victim, having been contacted by a debt collection agency, contacted the Gilbert Police Department, police said.Apparently, the victim requested her credit report and discovered her Massachusetts address had been changed to one in Gilbert. Additionally, more than 47 fraudulent purchases were charged to a previously closed credit card account in June, Gilbert police said.The woman using the card, who police believe is Rakow, was captured on surveillance cameras, police said.Rakow was booked into the Yavapai County Jail on suspicion of credit card fraud, fraudulent schemes and identity theft.
